Born on September 2, 2018, and weighing around 16 pounds, Chewie is hoping for a forever home where he can shine. Rescued from a challenging situation, he now enjoys life with his foster family and his buddy Jango. Chewie is sociable and gets along well with other small dogs, although he and Jango can be quite the team—sometimes a little too feisty with other canine friends. For this reason, they can be adopted together as a duo, provided they are the only dogs in their new home. Alternatively, they can be placed separately to ensure they each receive the love and care they deserve. Chewie sports a classy curly coat that will need regular grooming, so potential adopters should be prepared for grooming costs. He recently had a thorough dental cleaning and is all set after his complete medical care, including neutering and vaccinations. While Chewie will require some guidance with house training, he is already keeping his kennel clean for several hours.
