At around 14 years old and just under 50 pounds, she’s eager to trade her wandering days for a comfy bed and a loving family who understands that seniors deserve to be pampered. Casey absolutely thrives on affection. She loves being close to her humans, often following you from room to room just to stay connected. Don’t let her age fool you; she’s still quite spry! Casey enjoys a couple of slow, short walks each day and remains alert to her surroundings. Social by nature, she gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children—making her a fantastic addition to various types of homes. Her time in foster care has brought some much-needed veterinary attention, and she’s doing remarkably well. After having several painful teeth removed, Casey can now eat comfortably. She’s also on supplements for her joints and skin, which have made a noticeable difference. Though she’s beginning to lose some hearing, she can still respond when you call her name loudly. Casey would thrive in a family that appreciates her gentle pace and is willing to provide the extra love she needs.
