About Maggie AZ
Maggie is a high-spirited Australian Shepherd mix, currently fostered in Ontario, CA. She came from a tough situation but has made big strides since then. At around 1 year and 5 months old, Maggie has plenty of energy for running and playing, and sheāll happily chase after another dog for hours. While social with other dogs, she isnāt great with cats and shouldnāt go to a home with them. Maggie often gets mouthy during play, and sheās working on respecting other dogsā personal spaceāa work in progress, but improving. She has a strong affectionate side and will seek your company, curling up for belly rubs and cuddles, especially when she feels lonely. Maggie knows her basic commands well, but her play drive is high, so she needs clear rules, supervision, and a home comfortable with Aussie energy. Because of her playful, mouthy habits, sheās a better fit for homes without small children or frail pets but may do well with teens willing to engage her under supervision. Sheās not aggressive, just intense during play and needs reminders to play gently. Maggie will thrive best in an active household experienced with herding breeds who can channel her enthusiasm into positive outlets. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
