About Duffy
Meet Duffy! At just 6 months old and 13 pounds, he's brimming with personality. Rescued after being found wandering the streets, Duffy had a rough start with an unstable tibia/fibula fracture, but that hasn't dampened his spirits one bit. He’s on his third and final splint, happily walking on all fours and showing no signs of pain. Duffy is the life of the party—outgoing, social, and always on the go. He loves to run and play, and he gets along great with other dogs. This little guy is already crate trained, has excellent recall, and is eager to join in on the fun. His charming demeanor reminds some of a tiny Dutch Shepherd, showcasing his confidence and curiosity without being overwhelming. With a promising future ahead, Duffy is a wonderful companion for adventures and cozy nights in. His ideal size—what we call a "Shmedium"—makes him the perfect addition to any family. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped, ready to bring happiness to his new home. Adoption is straightforward: after a phone screening, you can schedule a meet and greet. There’s a two-week foster-to-adopt trial, and Duffy’s adoption fee is $250, due after this period. If you're located outside of Texas, we offer transportation directly to your door. Duffy can't wait to meet his forever family. Start your journey together! Apply now.
