Meet Hank, a young and playful 8-month-old Labrador Retriever and Australian Cattle Dog mix looking for his forever home in Centralia, WA. Originally adopted at 8 weeks, Hank returned to our care due to changes in his previous adopter's circumstances. We couldn't be happier to have him back, and now he's eager to find his real family. Hank's personality shines bright. He's affectionate, loves to be involved in everything you do, and can't get enough of playtime—especially when it involves fetch! This energetic boy keeps himself entertained with squeaky toys but needs guidance to manage his excitement and energy levels. Though Hank enjoys the company of other dogs, he’s still learning proper play etiquette. Given his Cattle Dog roots, he can get a bit enthusiastic during interactions, so his new family should be ready to supervise and help him with social skills. Crate-trained and house-trained, he’s ready to settle into a routine with the right amount of exercise and mental challenges. Underneath all the youthful exuberance, Hank is a sweetheart looking for structure and love. If you can offer him a patient and active home with ongoing training, he’ll undoubtedly thrive.
