Bettie is a 5-year-old Great Dane and Labrador Retriever mix with a gentle spirit and big brown eyes. She has these adorable dimples that show up when she smiles, adding to her charm. Bettie found her way to the Roswell, NM shelter in rough shape, emaciated and close to being put down due to lack of space. Overlooked in a crowded shelter, we recognized her quiet resilience and knew she deserved a real chance at happiness. Now in Washington, Bettie's slow and calm demeanor is just waiting to be appreciated by a loving family. She is spayed, house trained, and walks nicely on a leash. Plus, she gets along well with cats and other mellow dogs. Bettie enjoys snuggling, lounging with her legs in the air, basking in a kiddie pool, and indulging in treats. A simple life filled with love, cozy spots to rest, and the joy of companionship is all she needs to thrive.
