About Buddy

Meet Buddy, a roughly 2-year-old, 75 lb Lab-Shar Pei mix with brains, heart, and an endless appetite for affection. He’s eager to follow you from room to room and will stick by your side if allowed. Training comes easy for Buddy—he knows all the basics, plus a few party tricks like “shake” and “high-five.” Treats? He takes them so gently it’s impressive. Buddy came from tough beginnings, found hungry and scratched up on the roadside. Once he landed in his foster family’s care, he transformed—leaning into life with two grade school kids and a lot of play. He’s big and full of energy, so a home with adults or bigger kids suits him best. He’s always been patient and gentle with children. Buddy needs a fully fenced yard and daily exercise—he thrives on morning and evening walks, ball-chasing, and occupying himself with toys or bones. After a long day, he’ll curl right up with you, or in an open crate or dog bed. He’s house trained, listens well, and does best in a cat-free, small-animal-free household. Expect plenty of belly-up moments and reminders of pure loyalty from Buddy. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
