Veronica, AKA “V,” is an absolute sweetheart who is ready to find her people. She was one of the 80+ dogs rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, but she’s blossoming more and more every day. V is all about her humans! She adores kids and could honestly take or leave other dogs—she’d much rather be soaking up attention from her people. She can be a little bundle of energy one minute and a total lap warmer the next, perfectly content to snuggle up with you for hours. She sleeps soundly in her kennel all night and is starting to discover the world of toys. Right now, she’s more interested in picking up random little things like a curious puppy than playing with stuffed animals —but she’s figuring it all out! After everything she’s been through, what V wants most is pretty simple: a family to love, a lap to snuggle in, and a forever home where she’ll never have to wonder if she’s safe again. Female• 1 year old• Terrier Mix• 16 lbs ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
