May was discovered abandoned in an orchard in Eastern Washington, along with her three puppies, Lola, Bonita, and Bonny. Fortunately, Yakima Valley Pet Rescue stepped in to bring this little family to safety. Now around two years old and weighing 42 lbs, May is starting to flourish in her foster home. In her foster environment, she has been friendly with both people and other dogs. Currently residing with several other dogs in Yakima, May has shown a wonderful temperament with everyone she encounters. As a German Shorthaired Pointer, she will thrive in an active household that can meet her need for exercise, training, and mental stimulation.
