About Doodle Buddy
Doodle Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle—a half Border Collie, half Standard Poodle mix—looking for a calm, child-free home where he can feel secure. He’s friendly and enjoys other dogs socially at daycare, though he does show some resource guarding with food and certain toys around dogs. Kids stress him out, even after a month of professional training with a balanced trainer and an e-collar for off-leash reliability. He’s house trained, crate trained, excellent on leash, and knows the 'place' command. The ideal adopter can give Doodle Buddy structure and gentle leadership, with no small children and preferably as a single dog, although he can manage polite dog friends in controlled settings. He hasn’t lived with cats. Doodle Buddy is currently thriving in foster care in Bothell, WA, with ongoing support from a balanced trainer. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
