Meet Gordon, a delightful Pekingese mix who embodies warmth and charm. He originally faced tough circumstances, but was fortunate to be rescued from an unhappy situation. After some time spent adapting, he has embraced family life with his foster mom, dad, and their three teenage kids. Remarkably, he has made a special bond with their Mastiff, demonstrating his confident and affectionate nature. Gordon enjoys being active and brings a great energy balance to the house. He loves to walk and explore but is equally fond of lounging close to his humans. This little guy is housetrained and crate-trained, sleeping comfortably in his crate when necessary. He waits to be invited onto the couch, showing his respectful demeanor. While Gordon is friendly with new people, he tends to be protective of his home. He might bark at unfamiliar visitors but responds well to consistent direction. He thrives in the company of other dogs and has shown that he can play well with them. However, he may not be the best fit for families with very young children, as he prefers to have space around his face. His future family should be prepared to manage his toys carefully, especially when it comes to his favorite tennis balls.
