About Rosie
Rosie is a gentle, submissive Labrador Retriever who came from a difficult situation and is just now figuring out how good life indoors can be. She arrived very underweight and wary of everything, but with the consistent support of her foster family and a professional trainer, she’s been learning to relax, walk on leash, and explore at her own pace. Rosie has a low-key temperament—she’s more of an observer than a playful pup, showing little interest in drama and preferring quiet company. She gets along well with other dogs and would likely thrive with a calm, confident canine friend to help her feel comfortable. Rosie is reliably house-trained, non-destructive, and has excellent manners at home. Leash walks have become her favorite part of the day and are a great way to build trust with her. She’s spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Rosie will do best with a patient owner who’s willing to help her build confidence and continue to adjust to the rhythms of home life. She’s in Arlington, VA, settling in with her foster family and proving every day that she’s ready for her next chapter. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
