Meet Diesel! Don't let his tiny size fool you; this 5.3-pound Chihuahua has a big personality and is bursting with love! At around a year old, Diesel joined us from Chester County Animal Control. Since his arrival, he's charmed everyone he meets. Diesel is an incredibly sweet, confident little guy who adores people. His ideal day includes curling up in your lap, riding in your arms, or being tucked into your purse as you run errands. While he's very people-focused, Diesel enjoys the company of other dogs too. He quickly integrated into his foster family's pack and happily engages in play while respecting other dogs' boundaries. If a canine friend isn't interested in joining in, he knows when to back off gracefully. With a moderate energy level, Diesel enjoys playing with toys and then settling in for cuddle time. He walks well on a leash but isn't looking for a hiking buddy; a quick stroll to take care of business and back home is more his style. If you want a well-behaved companion who loves to be by your side, Diesel is your pup. This smart little guy learns quickly. He's excelling in potty training, is crate-trained overnight (though he might vocalize a bit before settling), and already knows commands like "sit" and "up up." He's eager to please, food-motivated, rides well in the car, and has excellent house manners. Diesel would do well as an only dog soaking up all the attention, or with another playful pup who appreciates having a tiny sidekick. His affectionate and easygoing nature makes him a delight to have around. He’s ready to fill his forever home with love and laughter.
