About Titan
Titan is an 8-year-old, 130-pound Anatolian Shepherd, and he has some distinct opinions about life. As a livestock guardian dog (LGD), heβs intelligent and independent, with a knack for getting what he wants. Titan won't hesitate to test your limits. Trying to swap a Milk-Bone for Pup-Peronis? Forget it. Heβs too savvy for that kind of trick. He thrives on routine; his daily walks are non-negotiable. Skip one, and you'll likely find him pacing until you rectify the mistake. Titan comes with his list of essentials: a loveseat for lounging, stuffies for fun, clean water, and snowβhis preferred snack while supervising you in winter. Summer means he must have access to an A/C vent for his comfort. And thunderstorms? Those are a big no for him. Titan can cohabitate with another dog who has a similar nature. He currently shares his home with three cats he plays with, although his play style may need some adjustment given his size. He does well with respectful, dog-savvy kids and has met horses without issue. However, Titan does experience some separation anxiety, making him best suited to a home where someone is present most of the time, such as a retiree or a work-from-home human. A secure, fenced yard is required, along with an adopter experienced with Anatolian breeds. Despite his strong personality, Titan is also a dedicated guardian and companion. When he chooses you, he truly commits. Are you up for the challenge? Titan is ready for his new family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
