About Ridley
Ridley is an 11-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who came to us from a hoarding situation involving over 40 dogs. Though well-fed, these dogs didn’t receive the socialization they needed, and Ridley is just beginning to understand the human world around him. He’s sweet but quite shy, taking time to adjust to new people and situations. Rushing him won’t help; instead, a patient approach is key. Allow him space to observe, and he’ll eventually reveal his affectionate, playful self. When he trusts you, Ridley becomes a loyal companion, bringing humor and joy to your life. Ridley is friendly with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine buddy to help him learn that the world is mostly a safe place. Given his future size—he’s already tall and still growing—you’ll want a securely fenced yard for him. Children must be calm and well past the running or screaming phase as sudden commotion can overwhelm him. Ridley doesn’t need fixing; he needs patience and understanding. With the right guidance, he will become a loving and devoted companion worth the effort. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
