About Romy

Meet Romy, a lovely Anatolian Shepherd who's ready to start a new chapter after her challenging past. She came to us from a hoarding situation, meaning she missed out on many experiences typical for a dog. Initially, Romy may feel a bit anxious in new settings and will need time to adapt. With patience and love, she has the potential to blossom into the cheerful companion we know she can be. Once she feels secure, Romy shows her playful side. She enjoys attention, has fun with toys, and exhibits classic dog antics like stealing shoes and socks. We recommend that she live with another dog who can help guide her as she adjusts. Although Romy is fine with cats, she would do best in a home with kids 12 and older due to her sensitivity to noise and fast movements. A fenced yard is essential for her comfort. Romy is located in Nashville, but we offer transportation for potential adopters. Start her journey to a loving home today!
