Meet Cody, a cheerful 12-year-old black and tan male Doberman Pinscher. With his beautifully cropped ears and docked tail, he weighs a solid 90 pounds. Cody came to the rescue after his previous owner passed away, and he's ready to find a loving forever home. Recently, Cody had a vet checkup where he received excellent news; his blood work showed great results, and there are no heart issues. While he has some anxiety, particularly during thunderstorms, he is healthy and responds well to a Thundershirt to help calm him down. Cody is looking for a calm, relaxed environment where he can thrive as a couch potato. Ideally, his new home should be a one-level space with carpeting or non-slip rugs to assist him as he navigates his golden years. Though he doesn’t especially enjoy playing with toys, he has a few favorites, including his orange tennis ball which he will carry around the house. He's house trained, prefers not to be crated, and loves to lounge on his favorite bed until his humans come home. Cody also enjoys car rides, often settling comfortably in the back seat.
