About Betty

Betty is a lively 1-2 year old female Doberman Pinscher with a striking black and rust coat. She's full of youthful energy and has the kind of ears that draw admiration. Before she entered the care of DAR&E, Betty had her own litter of puppies, all while navigating her own puppy phase. Now in a foster home, sheโ€™s ready for her next adventure. Being an energetic breed, Betty thrives in an active household. She needs ample physical and mental stimulation to keep her happy and well-behaved. While sheโ€™s a fast learner and loves to please, she is still mastering her manners. Currently living with a female dog and two cats, she gets along well with the dog but struggles with her excitement around the cats. For their safety, itโ€™s best she doesn't share a home with feline friends. Betty warms up well to women, but requires a gentle approach from men, taking her time to build trust. With patience, she will flourish in a supportive environment. Sheโ€™s actively working on basic commands and enjoys the opportunity to learn. Betty is fostered in Arlington, VA, and is ready for a loving new home. Your new best friend is just one click away.
