About Cooper
Meet Cooper, a 14-month-old male Doberman Pinscher, sporting a striking black and tan coat, docked tail, and natural ears. Weighing in at about 72 pounds, this energetic guy is ready to bring joy into your life. Cooper is friendly and enthusiastic, quickly adapting to routines thanks to his solid training foundation. He's both crate trained and house trained, and knows commands like sit, down, paw, speak, and drop it. Like many young Dobies, he’s still polishing his manners. While he’s learning to keep all four paws on the floor when greeting people, excitement sometimes gets the better of him, and he jumps. In his foster home, he walks well on an easy-walk harness and remains calm around strangers and barking dogs, but he does get a bit excited when he spots another dog nearby. Though he hasn't met many dogs yet, he's reported to be dog friendly. Supervision is important; he loves to chew and should have monitored playtime to prevent him from swallowing toys. Cooper needs a bit of a confidence boost when it comes to getting in the car, so securing him with a crate or dog seatbelt is advisable. An active home that can continue his training and offer mental and physical challenges will be ideal. He’d absolutely thrive in a fenced yard where he can zoom around and enjoy playing fetch with balls and frisbees. Are you ready to welcome this charming boy into your family?
