Aaron is a charming 3-year-old Shih Tzu, weighing in at 18 pounds, who found himself at the Lancaster shelter after being surrendered with another dog. Though his companion was adopted before we arrived, we couldn’t leave Aaron behind. He came to us in dire need of care, as his coat was heavily matted and painful. Unfortunately, we had to shave him down, but rest assured, his beautiful coat will grow back soon enough. Beneath the mats lies a loving pup with a sweet disposition. Aaron is sociable, getting along well with other dogs and being friendly with anyone he meets. He’s ready to say goodbye to his past and find a forever family that will cherish him. Aaron does not get along with cats but is great with children and other dogs. Aaron’s adoption fee is $600, which covers his neutering, dental care, microchip, and up-to-date vaccinations.
