About Gigi And Luna
Meet Gigi and Luna, a devoted mother-daughter pair of Maltipoo and Shih Tzu mixes whose bond runs deep. At 6 years old, Gigi is a true cuddle bug who relishes belly rubs, snuggling close at night, and keeping her people close. She lost her external ear flaps from untreated infections before rescue, but Gigi’s spirit and charm outshine her unique look. Luna, at 1.5 years old, has boundless play energy. Though blind, she finds her way with hearing and scent and delights in following her humans around the house. She has a quirky “spinning” habit when excited or needing a bathroom break, which just adds to her endearing personality. Both girls are house trained, using diapers indoors when needed but otherwise reliable with pee pads and outdoor walks. Gigi barks or cries for a bit when left, while Luna spins to self-soothe; both eventually settle down. They are friendly with other dogs on walks but need calm, gentle introductions at home. Gigi prefers to rule her castle and Luna tends to hang back with new animal friends. Because Luna is blind and easily startled, they would do best in a steady home without young kids. They are both spayed, vaccinated, and healthy overall. Gigi and Luna thrive with affectionate people and consistent routine. They would love a medium-activity home, preferably with a safe backyard and someone around most of the time. Out-of-town adopters are welcome but will need to visit them in Orange, CA.
