Hoot
AvailableHoot is a 1-year and 2-month-old male Chihuahua from Jackson, MO. He has a tan coat and is altered with vaccinations up to date. Hoot requires a special living environment as he needs to be the only dog and live in an adult-only home. While he's still learning to trust, he has a gentle nature and enjoys human companionship. Despite his quirks, he is a sweet dog ready for a patient home.
About Hoot
Meet Hoot! He came to Mac's Mission after enduring a tough situation that has left him understandably cautious. Despite his past, Hoot recently completed 10 weeks of training through the Puppies for Parole program. He has worked hard and is ready to build trust with a loving family. Once Hoot begins to warm up, his sweet personality shines through. He enjoys attention and is eager for companionship. However, he does have a few quirks. Hoot is not fond of other dogs and can react fearfully, so he will need to be the only dog in the household. He also requires an adult-only home due to his anxious tendencies. Secure fencing is a must, as Hoot is an excellent jumper and can clear short barriers with ease. While Hoot has a lot of love to give, he needs a patient owner who understands that trust may take time. He's not a fan of baths and will need a belly band to manage some behavior issues. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart, Hoot might just be the perfect match. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
