About Tiana
Tiana arrived at PAWS after being surrendered to animal control, scared and ready to defend herself the only way she knew how. With patience, she quickly found comfort, revealing an affectionate and spirited personality—once she trusts you. She’s a small brown and red Chihuahua with a big heart in a tiny body, weighing just 8 lbs. Tiana thrives in quiet homes, needs a fenced yard, and prefers a predictable environment with few visitors. Because she has a history of fear-based biting, she won’t be placed in homes with anyone under 18. Tiana isn’t yet housetrained but uses pee pads well. She gets along with other dogs and cats, but her adopter must understand she requires time, space, and gentle handling to settle in and feel safe. She is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, currently undergoing heartworm treatment, and just had a dental. Born October 29, Tiana is a Scorpio, so she brings a bit of that classic intensity and fierce loyalty once bonded. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Tiana and her breed enjoy short walks and time outdoors, but their small size means a secure, fenced yard is ideal rather than requiring large areas. Regular supervised outdoor access is important for enrichment.
