In her foster home, she has truly come alive, showing boundless enthusiasm whenever her harness appears, signaling the start of a new adventure. Car rides are particularly thrilling for her; she loves to hang her head out the window, soaking up every sight and sound. Water is another favorite, and she relishes the opportunity to wade in it and chase after tennis balls. While Iris enjoys the company of people, she is not suitable for homes with cats, as her curiosity can escalate if she sees one running away. She is somewhat selective with other dogs, and thoughtful introductions work best; once a bond forms, she gets along well with them. Iris has successfully cohabited with three other dogs, though she prefers her space when it comes to toys. Thankfully, she isn’t food possessive.
