About Pike
Click apply to start the adoption process. Pike is a spirited 2-year-old Husky and Pointer mix who brings boundless energy and a genuine love for working alongside a team. Surrendered due to his previous owner's medical challenges, Pike is accustomed to an active lifestyle, having served as an excellent sled dog and showing his strength as a reliable puller. Pike and his siblings have primarily lived outdoors in dog houses, though they showed their enjoyment of coming inside during particularly cold weather. As a result, they are not housebroken and will need patient guidance transitioning to the comforts of indoor living—including learning house manners, crate training, and basic obedience. Pike is savvy with mushing commands and craves both mental and physical stimulation. He thrives best with an adopter ready to share adventures like skijoring, bikejoring, hiking, or being part of a recreational mushing team. An active, engaged home will help Pike flourish and unleash his full potential as a loyal adventure companion. If you’re ready to add an enthusiastic, driven pup to your life, Pike is eager to meet you—maybe even with his whole crew! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
