About Marlene Jj
Marlene Jj is an eight-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog whoβs searching for a new home due to her family's arrival of a new baby. This transition has proven to be stressful for her, and her family is eager to find her a loving environment where she can thrive. Marlene is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and currently on preventive care. She has a short coat and weighs around 58 pounds. Marlene plays well with other dogs after proper introductions and enjoys being part of the family. She loves car rides and swimming, but she is not suited for homes with young children, as she is reactive to them. Instead, she may do well with older, dog-respectful teenagers. House trained and accustomed to a crate as her safe space, Marlene also requires consistent leadership to help her overcome some resource guarding tendencies. Her family is willing to transport her to a committed adopter, and although they would prefer an adoption, they are open to discussing long-term foster options. Marlene is a loyal companion eager to bond with the right person. Get to know her and see if she might be your next furry friend. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
