FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Georgie! This 4-year-old, 11 lb Chiweenie came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. Georgie is a loving little companion who thrives on being close to his people. Whether he's snuggled in your lap, taking a stroll around the neighborhood, or joining you on an adventure, he’s at his happiest by your side. Georgie gets along well with other dogs and would love a friendly canine companion to help keep him socialized and provide a playmate. However, he can also do well as an only dog if his adopters are committed to continuing his socialization and giving him plenty of opportunities to explore the world. Like many little dogs, he occasionally shows a bit of bossy energy, but that just adds to his charm. Because Georgie is a bit sensitive to busy surroundings, he will thrive in a quieter home, away from the noise of the city. A calm neighborhood will allow him to enjoy daily walks, explore at his own pace, and build confidence, helping him be his very best self.
