Benji is a young, eight-month-old male with a large build, a unique mix of Great Pyrenees and Boxer. He’s altered (neutered) and up to date on vaccinations. His soft apricot, beige, and white or cream coloring catches the eye, and he’s currently located in Woodinville, WA. Benji is looking for a patient home where he can continue to build confidence and settle in.

About Benji

Benji and Elsa are two tightly bonded 7-month-old pups searching for a fresh start. Life hasn’t always been smooth for them, so they’re seeking an experienced adopter ready to give them the chance to blossom. Once Benji and Elsa feel secure, their silly and playful sides shine through, and you see how much puppy enthusiasm they still have to give. They’ve done well with other dogs and will need careful, slow introductions to any current household pets, especially given they haven’t met cats. Benji and Elsa's ideal home is quiet and predictable, with just adults—they’re not a fit for families with kids or apartment/condo living. A securely fenced backyard will make all the difference for them. The adoption process is a bit more involved and requires several meet-and-greets at the shelter to help Benji and Elsa settle in comfortably. Ready to meet these two and see if you’re the match they need? What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Questions about Benji

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Benji, as a Great Pyrenees/Boxer mix, will thrive in a home with ample space and a steady routine. This blend often does best in quiet, adult-only environments with access to a securely fenced yard.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Benji will need a securely fenced backyard with enough room to roam and play. He isn't a match for apartment living and benefits from outdoor time in a larger, private space.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Benji's mix and temperament mean he’s currently seeking an adult-only household. While some mixes do fine with kids, Benji needs a quiet environment without children.
