About Sabine

Sabine is an affectionate Chiweenie with a gorgeous chestnut red coat and a playful, gentle nature. At about 9 pounds, she’s estimated to be between 5 and 7 years old. She adapted well to her foster environment after being rescued from a dog-hoarding situation, but she can be timid around new people and is particularly cautious around men. However, Sabine quickly bonds with her female companions and enjoys being a loyal lap dog. When Sabine isn’t cuddling, she loves to entertain herself with toys or engage in a game of fetch. Being outside is one of her favorite things—she would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can explore and soak up the sun. She's good on leash walks and is not aggressive toward other dogs. At home, Sabine is the perfect companion; she loves attention but can also occupy herself with a cozy dog bed nearby. She's well housetrained and exhibits no separation anxiety. This sweet girl would be happiest in a calm, female-only household, especially if you work from home or are retired. Sabine is truly a delightful companion—ready to fill your home with love and laughter! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
