About Reese’s
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Reese’s, a 4-year-old female Miniature Pinscher/Chiweenie mix with a sweet and loving nature. She is bright, curious, and always alert. Reese’s is crate trained and working well on her house training. This active girl loves to play, is eager to please, and is highly motivated by food and treats. A snuggle bug at heart, she likes to be close but prefers her own space and doesn’t enjoy being picked up for long. Once she trusts you, her quirky and fun personality really shines through. Reese’s generally gets along with other dogs, though she prefers the company of certain dogs and keeps to herself most of the time. She can be selective with male dogs and may be assertive with them. She is not suitable for homes with children, men, or cats due to her history and specific needs. Because she has been abused by a man in the past, she must be adopted into a female-only home, and she will bite men. Apartments are not a good fit, and she is not comfortable walking on leash in public spaces. Think you are the one? Submit an application!

Questions about Reese’s
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Miniature Pinscher/Chiweenie mixes do best in homes with secure yards where they have room to play but are protected from escaping, as they are curious and active. They thrive in a setting that provides both physical and mental stimulation.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
While small in size, these mixes have energetic personalities and appreciate access to a secure, fenced yard where they can safely explore. Regular play sessions and indoor games can also meet their exercise needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Miniature Pinscher/Chiweenie mixes can be wary of young children due to their sensitive nature and small size. Supervised interactions are essential, and they may be better suited for adult-only homes or homes with older, respectful children.
