Meet Sunny! Sunny is a charming 9-year-old, 70lb neutered pittie mix currently being fostered in Houston, TX. He has a vibrant personality that matches his name, bringing joy wherever he goes. A playful and goofy boy, he lights up with kisses and enjoys showing off his tricks, all while relishing quality time with his humans. Having spent time with a professional trainer, Sunny has an impressive grasp of obedience commands. He understands sit, down, stay, place, and even some fun movement tricks. He is fully house-trained and crate trained, settling nicely in his kennel for 6-8 hours a night. His food motivation drives his eagerness to learn, making training enjoyable for him. With moderate energy, Sunny thrives in an active home that enjoys daily walks and playtime. He walks well on a loose leash but can get excited upon seeing other dogs, requiring some guidance to stay focused. Sunny enjoys playful interactions with medium and large dogs; however, proper introductions are essential as he sometimes doesn’t recognize when a dog needs a break. Finding the right canine companion for him is key, but he could also be happy as your one and only. Sunny loves meeting new people and greets them with enthusiasm. Due to his excitement, he would do best with older, dog-savvy children (10+) who can help reinforce good behavior and respect his boundaries.
