Meet Skippy D, a lovable senior from Minnetonka, MN. This gentle boy radiates friendliness and joy, complete with an adorable underbite and soulful dark eyes. He may have some back leg issues due to Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), but that doesn’t hold him back. Skippy loves short walks and rides in his stroller. At home, he joyfully plays fetch with his toys and is potty trained; he will dash to the door when he needs to go out. Skippy thrives on companionship, whether he’s snuggled up on the sofa or settling beside you in bed. He does wonderfully in the car and gets along well with cats and people alike. While he may bark a little when you leave, he quickly calms down, especially after a few moments of cuddling. Skippy is best suited for a calm environment, ideally as the only dog or with a laid-back older dog. Although he needs some extra care, such as wearing protective socks on his back paws to avoid scrapes, he shows incredible spirit.
