Chewie is a 4 year old Shih Tzu mix ( Teddy bear?) seeking a new home as his very loving owner is moving to assisted living. Chewie is used to an adult home without a lot of visitors. He's house broken, neutered and has the run of the house when home alone. He enjoys his kennel as a sleep space with the door open. Chewie is very friendly but does not like to be held or hugged, he prefers lying next to you and hanging out being pet. Restraint is new to him and he's uncomfortable with it. He can sit, sit up, shake, laydown, come on request and can even dance a couple circles with a treat in your hand. He has a favorite stuffed animal named Bear that he loves to play with especially when he gets the zoomies. Normally he's on a lead for potty breaks but once a day or so he is taken out for a little run around the townhouse yards that he loves. He needs a home who lives with his quirks about being cuddled, enjoys a companion who has a silly side, and will send his prior owner updates every now and then. Please email kladams4545@gmail.com
