Gizmo is a charming Shih Tzu and Maltese mix who has overcome a rough start to life. At 8 years old and weighing 11 pounds, he has transformed from a shy dog suffering from neglect and health issues into a sweet companion who loves to cuddle. His past condition included chronic ear infections and dental issues, but with veterinary care, he is thriving. Now, he enjoys a relaxed setting in his foster home, where he has learned to trust again, especially loving those gentle touches. He is house trained but requires a calm, adults-only environment, as he does not get along with children. Gizmo does well with older kids after they have spent some time together. His ideal home would include a fenced yard for him to romp freely as he loves daily walks, ideally 2-3 times a day, to maintain good behavior and build a strong bond with his human. Gizmo longs for a forever home where he can receive all the love and attention he deserves. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped, ready for his new adventure.
