Levi is a spirited 4-year-old Wirehaired Dachshund with a history as an AKC show dog. He came into rescue when his owner became ill and couldn't care for him any longer. Levi is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy, having received a dental cleaning and heartworm prevention with a Proheart6 injection. Full of energy, Levi loves to play ball and chase toys. He can be dominant with male dogs, but does get along fine with females. As a pet parent, you’ll need a securely fenced yard, a home visit, and a veterinarian reference, and please note that he is not suited for homes with children under 10 years old.
