About Lucy
Lucy is a pint-sized Miniature Pinscher with the personality of a much bigger dog. At three years old, she’s as sassy as she is brave. Despite her small frame, Lucy has plenty to say and plenty of energy to burn; she’s bold, adventurous, and will quickly make her presence known. Vocal and lively, she’ll keep you on your toes and is never shy about letting you know what she wants. Lucy needs a home where she can be the star—no cats, no small children, and definitely no big dogs. She does best with people willing to respect her boundaries and love her spirited, quirky ways. Lucy came through leg surgery a couple of years back and now she’s fully healed, spayed, vaccinated, and also microchipped. Raised for a while in a quiet home with a senior, she became a bit much for her previous owner, so she’s looking for someone who actually relishes her feisty streak and understands her need for fun and adventure. Lucy is currently fostered in Chickasha, OK, and any adopter must be able to travel there to meet her and take her home. Her adoption fee is $450, but she brings a priceless dose of character and humor wherever she goes. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Lucy
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Miniature Pinschers like Lucy do well in homes where they have space to move around safely, but they don’t need a huge yard. An active household that can keep up with her energy and provide routine is a good match.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Lucy’s breed is happy with a modest yard or regular walks; a secure, fenced area is ideal but a committed owner in an apartment setting can also work as long as she gets daily exercise.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Miniature Pinschers like Lucy can be a bit too high-energy and sassy for small children. She’s better suited to homes with adults or older teens who understand dog boundaries.
