About Charm
Charm is a beautiful 4-year-old black Tri Australian Shepherd with a nub tail and an incredibly sweet demeanor. Currently in Alexandria, VA, she’s looking for a new home due to her owner's demanding work schedule, which leaves him away from home for long hours. This decision was not made lightly, as he wants Charm to receive the love, exercise, and attention she deserves. Charm is friendly, affectionate, and warms up quickly to new people. She might bark at first, but soon shows her playful side. During her evaluation, she accepted treats and pets, allowing gentle handling and enjoying being brushed. She's exceptionally energetic when it comes to balls—her eyes light up at the sight of a tennis ball as she happily chases, retrieves, and drops it on command. Regular walks, yard time, and mental stimulation will keep her engaged. She gets along well with other dogs, displaying no aggression during her interactions. Charm is housebroken, crate trained, and knows several commands such as sit and lay down. Although she is spayed and vaccinated, she is not suitable for homes with cats or small animals. ARMA is hoping to find her an adult-only home where her new family will enjoy outdoor activities and provide the exercise she needs.
