Weighing 43 pounds, Milo currently resides in Alexandria, VA, after his family, who love him dearly, reached out to Aussie Rescue of the Mid-Atlantic due to their frequent travel obligations. Milo is affectionate and intelligent, though he can be a bit vocal or unsure when meeting new people, especially men. With some patience and treats, he'll often reward you with a belly-up roll, inviting rubs—a sweet gesture of his affection. This energetic boy absolutely adores playing fetch, and whether it’s tennis balls, rubber toys, or his large herding ball, Milo is always ready for fun. He thrives on regular walks, daily fetch sessions, and enriching activities that keep him engaged. Milo has a good track record with other dogs, having enjoyed playful interactions and boarding with canine companions. He has no experience with cats. Housebroken and trustworthy, he has fantastic house manners, rides well in the car, and knows an array of commands, such as sit, down, come, and quiet. While he’s not crate trained, he does well with positive reinforcement and would benefit from continued leash training with a front-clip harness. Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, Milo occasionally experiences mild ear irritation manageable with drops.
