Meet Cupcake! Cupcake is a beautiful 7-year-old black tri Australian Shepherd with a gorgeous, thick coat and a heart as sweet as her name. This lovely girl is gentle, sensitive, and affectionate. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new surroundings, preferring to take things at her own pace. Once she feels safe and comfortable, Cupcake's loving personality begins to shine, and she forms deep bonds with those she trusts. Cupcake would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands she may need a little time to adjust. She especially enjoys the company of other dogs and would require a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes and boost her confidence. She takes comfort in following the lead of other dogs and is happiest when she feels secure in her environment. At approximately 60 pounds, Cupcake is currently a little overweight and would benefit from a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise and continued walks. She has been making great progress with her leash skills and is learning that walks can be enjoyable rather than scary. While she's still building confidence, she now happily walks alongside her foster instead of reacting fearfully to the leash. Like many Aussies, Cupcake appears to have strong herding instincts. She often stays close to her people, gently nudging her nose against their legs as if making sure everyone is where they belong. Cupcake is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find a family that will give her the patience, understanding, and love she deserves. In return, she will reward you with unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and a lifetime of devotion.
