About Gabriel
Gabriel is a charming toy Australian Shepherd currently fostered in Omaha, NE. He is affectionately known as Gramps, and at 8 years old, he weighs less than 10 lbs. This little guy isn’t just a companion; he’s a cuddle monster who loves to be around his people. Whether you're on a conference call, reading, or even cooking, Gabriel will gladly be by your side. He enjoys sitting on his foster mom's lap while she works, proving he’s a multitasker in the cuddle department. Despite his age, Gabriel is lively and ready to play. He still has a playful spirit, often zooming around the yard and enjoying fetch with his foster siblings, which include three large dogs and four cats. He's learned to navigate his home with a bit of sass, embodying the spirit of a small dog while getting along well with others. Gabriel was brought into rescue due to various reasons, including a preference for an adult-only home and his luxating patellas. Luckily, despite showing some grades of this condition, he hasn’t let it slow him down one bit. He loves soft blankets and would thrive in a home where someone is around frequently to cuddle and shower him with love. While he isn't a fan of crating for long periods, he does well in the car and responds positively to grooming. Gabriel is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and up-to-date on all preventive care, including flea, tick, and heartworm treatments.
