About Sage
Meet Sage! This adorable small companion is looking for a new home where he can feel secure and loved. Sage is a 3-year-old male mixed breed, combining the playful nature of a Bichon Frise and a Poodle. Weighing in at 18 pounds, he’s ready to cuddle and provide affection to his new family. Recently neutered and up to date on vaccines, Sage is heartworm negative and microchipped. His gentle demeanor makes him a hit with kids, and he enjoys the company of other dogs, although we haven't seen how he interacts with cats yet. While he acts confident around new people, his shy side shows a bit when he meets them for the first time. Sage has a low to medium energy level. He loves short walks, enjoys playing with other dogs, and appreciates some cozy couch time. He is crate trained but can be whiny at first, settling down after some time. We're still working on his potty training, but he's making progress. Regular grooming is necessary due to his curly coat, which should be factored into the adoption process. If you’re someone who spends ample time at home and can provide the love and care he needs, Sage will be a wonderful addition to your family. He’s ready to find that perfect match. Give him the loving home he deserves! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
