About Max
Max is a two-year-old, 30 lb Shar Pei in search of a foster or forever home. After being surrendered by his previous owners, this handsome boy is eager to find a family experienced with his breed. Max is a sweet and affectionate companion who thrives on being involved in daily activities. Whether it’s a walk, a cozy night in, or just hanging out, his happiest moments are spent with his people. He walks well on a leash and loves to explore, making him an excellent partner for daily strolls. Very smart and treat-motivated, Max is always eager to learn. He enjoys training sessions that are rewarding for both him and his adopter. Consistent guidance and positive reinforcement will help him reach his full potential. Max generally gets along with other dogs but prefers slow introductions. He may be selective with his canine companions, so respectful interactions are key. He’d thrive in a home with a compatible dog or as the only dog enjoying all the attention. We're seeking adopters who understand Shar Peis and their needs. Max will flourish with a family that values his loyalty and is committed to helping him flourish as a beloved companion. If you’re ready for a devoted friend with a heart of gold and an adorable wrinkly face, Max can't wait to meet you! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
