About Kit
Meet Kit, a playful and energetic 3-4 month-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. Rescued from a rural Oklahoma pound, she's now in foster care near Moline, IL, where she's embracing life as a cherished family pet. Kit's personality shines as she plays with her foster friend Tater and gets along well with her kitten buddies. She's already mastering commands like 'sit' and 'come' through positive reinforcement training. This sweet pup is full of puppy energy and thrives on activity, making her a perfect match for an active family. Kit does wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, so she would fit right into a busy household. While she is crate trained, Kit is currently working on potty training and leash skills. Kit has overcome a case of mange and is on the mend, with her coat healing beautifully. You might notice some thinner patches in her fur, but she’s improving daily. At her young age, Kit needs an adopter who is committed to training and socialization. Her adoption fee is $500, including a spay contract and a reimbursement of $100 upon proof of spay. Kit is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready for her forever home. If you’re interested in making Kit a part of your family, please complete our adoption application. She can't wait to meet you!
