About Penelope
Penelope is a beautiful Australian Shepherd mix with a long, striking coat, and she’s looking for a warm spot in your home—and on your couch. At three years old, she’s solidly in her prime and shows every bit of her sweet, loving nature. True to her velcro-dog reputation, Penelope likes to stick close and thrives on companionship, whether she’s snuggled up at your side or joining you for a walk. She’s doing great on leash and enjoys getting out but remains focused on her person. Penelope gets along well with other dogs and passed her cat test, making her a good fit for multi-pet homes. If there are resident pets, you’ll need a proper introduction to ensure everyone is comfortable. She’s gentle with children, so families will find her an easy fit. Penelope would love a safely fenced yard to romp and play, but her energy level and temperament adapt well to a variety of living situations as long as she gets the love and structure she craves. She’s already spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and house trained. Penelope is in Cedar Rapids, IA and is ready to meet her people. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
