About Helen
Helen came to rescue after being pulled from a tough spot by a caring couple who wanted better for her. They knew she’d need a family ready to support her unique needs, so she landed with us. Helen is a medium-sized Australian Shepherd with a white and cream coat, and she’s one of the friendliest dogs you’ll meet. She loves people, gets along easily with children, dogs, and even cats. She’s house trained, crate trained, and easy to walk on a leash. Helen responds to hand signals and pays close attention to visual cues—she’s deaf, but it doesn’t slow her down. Her favorite things: cuddling, playtime, and golf cart rides. As a double merle Aussie, Helen could face vision issues later, though she sees well now. Her foster is helping her get used to wearing protective goggles outdoors. Her adopter needs to be patient and committed to clear communication using hand signals. Helen is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She truly is eager to belong and connect. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
