About Aurea
Meet Aurea, a sweet girl who came to PAW after being surrendered by her previous owner through no fault of her own. At just about one year old, this adorable and vibrant Husky mix is eager to find her forever home. Aurea had a tough experience last year when she was hit by a car, leading to the amputation of her back leg. Remarkably, she's adapted so well, and you wouldn't know it by how playfully she navigates life! She enjoys running, particularly with her canine companions, and loves the thrill of car rides. A true social butterfly, she is friendly and affectionate with people, and of course, she has a fondness for treats. Aurea is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. Although she gets along with other dogs and children, she may take some time to warm up to new canine friends. She's also lived harmoniously with cats. Aurea does have a playful side, so she may chew on items when left unattended—after all, she's still learning and growing! With her lively spirit and sweet nature, she is looking forward to new adventures with the right family. PAW operates in the MD, DC, northern VA, and northern PA area, and Aurea can't wait to find the perfect match! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
