About Kirby
Start your journey together! Apply now. Kirby is a charming Lab mix with a playful and curious spirit. At just a year old, he is bursting with energy and eager to explore everything around him! His favorite toy is currently a pumpkin stem, and he absolutely adores people and being held. While Kirby will likely stay a bit smaller than his brother at about 40 pounds, he’s got a big personality packed into a medium-sized frame. Having recently made the exciting journey up from North Carolina with the help of a caring volunteer pilot, Kirby even enjoyed some playtime in the airport! He’s already making progress with his basic commands like coming when called and sitting, though he finds it tough to keep his nose off the counters since he’s so curious about what you’re doing. As of now, Kirby hasn’t met a cat, so his feline compatibility is still unknown. This could be the start of something paw-some.
