Sable is the definition of a lovable Lab—big, goofy, and full of heart. At 64 pounds, he's equal parts playful and affectionate, with a silly personality that shines through in everything he does. He'll greet you with joyful leaps, happily accept any treat, and then roll right over for belly rubs. Whether it's a walk, a car ride, or just hanging out together, Sable is always ready for his next adventure with you. He already knows “sit” and is eager to keep learning, especially with a little help on leash manners. Sable came to PAW from an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina, where he spent far too much time in a kennel. Now that he's getting a taste of freedom, he's ready to blossom with a patient, loving home that can give him the exercise, structure, and encouragement he deserves. Sable is a quiet companion who isn't much of a barker and settles nicely back into his kennel after walks. He's smart, trainable, and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy being a dog.
