About Virginia
Meet Virginia, a large pit/lab mix weighing in around 60 pounds with a short, chocolate brown coat. Virginia lives harmoniously with other dogs, enjoying active playtime in the yard and plenty of fetch practice—though she's still getting the hang of it. She mostly pays little attention to cats, but she might be tempted to chase, so a cat-free home is best. Virginia’s greatest joy comes from spending time with people; she thrives on human connection and loves hanging out, whether it’s on the couch or out on a hike. She’s already house trained, comfortable in a crate, and never destructive indoors. Car rides and running in the woods are both on her list of favorite activities. She’s looking for a home with adults only, preferably one with a fenced-in yard so she can run and explore safely. Virginia is good with other dogs but would be best matched in a house without young children or cats. Her leash manners still need some work, but she’s eager to please and will benefit from someone patient who can help her learn. Virginia is currently being fostered in Frederick, Maryland, and ready to start her next chapter. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
