About Virginia

Think you are the one? Submit an application! Meet Virginia, a beautiful pit bull terrier and labrador retriever mix with a striking chocolate-brown coat. Weighing about 60 pounds, she’s currently loving life with her canine friends, spending time playing together in the yard. Virginia is all about people—she absolutely adores everyone she meets, and her friendly spirit shines brightest around her human companions. She’s working on playing fetch and still learning her leash manners, but her eagerness to please is sure to help her adjust quickly with a little guidance. Virginia is comfortable in her crate, completely house trained, and polite in the house without being destructive. Though Virginia has been ignoring the cats in her foster home, she’s shown some curiosity to chase, so she may do best in a cat-free home. She’s recommended for an adult-only household since her size and exuberance may be a bit much for young children. With her energetic nature, she would love a home with a fenced yard to explore, play, and continue learning new things. She’s always ready for a car ride, a hike in the woods, or just hanging out with her people. Virginia is currently being fostered in Frederick, Maryland, and is waiting to meet her forever family!
