About Berry
Berry is a delightful 51 lb. neutered male Rottweiler, approximately 6 years old. He loves to be in your lap for pets and adores his tennis balls, often carrying them around as he plays. Berry is food motivated and takes snacks nicely, jumping up for hugs when he's excited. He can pull a bit on the leash but seems non-reactive to nearby dogs, so with slow and proper introductions, he may do well with a fellow canine companion. Berry's behavior with cats and children is unknown, so a proper introduction is recommended. Remember, transitioning to a new home can be stressful for pets, and giving him at least three days to settle in will help reveal more of his personality. The shelter is open daily from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm at 1431 E Ferry St, Detroit. Don’t forget to bring your whole family when you meet Berry, but please leave any current dogs at home to make introductions smoother. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
